I updated the LEDs in the scarf/hoodie from 2011 with an Adafruit Flora, programmable LEDs, and 5v power bank. This was my first project using addressable LEDs. I identified the ground, power, data, and clock lines of a 4-wire strand of WS2801 LEDs, and then connected the LEDs to an Adafruit Flora. I played with the NeoPixel strandtest and then found a bunch of other ways to incorporate fun animations into my scarf.
